Our Oncology (Cancer) Programme is dedicated to providing comprehensive care and support to members diagnosed with cancer. Our team of experienced oncologists, nurses, and counsellors work together to ensure members receive the best possible care, from diagnosis to recovery.

OPTION A

Paid from Risk

Option A Benefits

  • Unlimited PMB cancer coverage.
  • PET scans can only be performed at accredited practices and require additional authorisation.
  • Post-chemo/radiotherapy chronic conditions are not covered.
  • Oncology (Cancer) medication is subject to the Scheme’s Medicine Price List (MPL) and Preferred Product List.

Conditions:

  • To avoid paying a 25% co-payment, members are encouraged to use the Scheme’s Network of Service Providers for all their treatment and medication.  

OPTION B

Paid from Risk

Option B Benefits

  • Option B offers unlimited PMB cancer coverage and up to R384,500 annually for non-PMB cancers.
  • PET scans can only be performed at accredited practices and require additional authorisation.
  • Post-chemo/radiotherapy chronic conditions are not covered.
  • Oncology (Cancer) medication is subject to the Scheme’s Medicine Price List (MPL) and Preferred Product List.
